You will see everyone walking around with an iced-up beverage and after reading this list you will know right where to get yours!

Good Vibes is one of the best cafes in Chiang Mai. You could spend hours, and some people do, inside their chic cafe. Outside the garden and patio area is just as peaceful. The menu is full of international and Thai favorites. You can order hot and iced coffee and teas.
They also have orange and black coffee which is unique to Thailand. It is a fun mix of coffee and mango flavoring that is so much yummier than it sounds.
There are all types of seating areas for working and relaxing scattered throughout. You can order food that is beautifully plated and fresh. And, the prices for food and drinks are reasonable for cafes in Chiang Mai.
Good Vibes is located in the Hang Dong section and you can find the address here. They are open every day except Wednesdays from 9 am to 6 pm!
Check out Zombie if you are looking for cool cafes in Chiang Mai to work from. It is also amazing just for dining too. The menu is big and full of fun Thai dishes and a few international favorites as well.
Before picking a seat make sure to walk all the way around and see all the different indoor and outdoor areas.
You can sit down in the river, overlooking the water, or pick an inside space. There is a big and relaxing dining room inside that leads to another spacious seating area. When you wander outside you will see that there is also a second building with a tree house terrace that overlooks the river.
Everywhere around the grounds is full of life and decorated very trendy. Try the spicy soft-shell crab or the pizza both are very good. For a drink, you can grab a beer or try one of their zombie-inspired drinks.
Zombie Cafe is about 30 minutes from the old town but Zombie is worth the drive, you could always stop here on your day trip to Chiang Rai. They are open every day from 9 am to 6 pm.
If you are looking for a cute place to take photos The Rim Nara Cafe is the most instagrammable cafe in Chiang Mai. When you arrive you will see from the road how beautiful this river cafe is. Then you will walk over the river and enter through a beautiful fern archway.
You can explore as much as you want because the entire grounds are on first come bases. When you are ready to order head inside and check out the menus. You can try yummy stir fry, fresh juices, and all different kinds of coffee. Do not skip dessert here either. Try ordering fancy drinks like strawberry americanos, or a dirty coffee to wash it all down.
There are seats overlooking the river inside a covered patio or you can opt for a garden seat. The entire place is just picture-perfect.

If you want the best cafe in Chiang Mai 2022 the Baristro is for you. This is a lovely centrally located study cafe Chiang Mai. There are different seating areas for whatever you are looking for. You can head inside to the big seating area, try out the slow bar, or grab one of the tables outside. In the far back, you can even find garden seating with fire pits.
The coffees are incredible and the drink menu has plenty of different options. The food is more of a bakery-style with croissants and desserts.
They do charge a cover to get into the cafe in exchange for food tickets. Expect to pay a few hundred baht per person for a meal and coffee. The address to get to The Baristro Asian Style is here. No matter if you want to relax or work this is one of the cool cafes in Chiang Mai to do both.
The Artisan Cafe is one of the most beautiful cafes in Chiang Mai. 8:30 to 5 pm. People come here for the views, atmosphere, and delightful pastries. Do not hesitate to order a croissant it is amazing. They also have more filling items like eggs benedict and scones.
For all the working travelers the wifi works and the atmosphere is very relaxing. You can pull up a comfy chair at one of the long tables, or grab a couch seat if that is more your style.
The cold beer is brewed in-house and it is a crowd favorite here, as well as the orange-black drink. It is an espresso with mango added to it.

Up next is Camp Coworking space in Chiang Mai. Camp stands for creative and meeting place. This one is a little different than your typical cafe because it is inside the Maya Mall. They are up on the 5th floor and have an amazing view of the mountains and city. Try grabbing a spot near the window for the best view.
Working from this cool cafe in Chiang Mai is nice because you get free wifi as long as you buy water or drink. They have big conference tables, small one-person booths, and plenty of low-seated work desks. The wifi is fast and efficient. If you do not need wifi to work you can also come in and work for free.
There are hundreds of free books to read here too if you just need a relaxing day inside. Be sure to keep this cafe in mind when you need a nice quiet place to camp at.

The Ginger Farm is a nice cafe in Chiang Mai out in the Hang Dong neighborhood. And it is so much more than just a cafe. There is a whole property to explore with cute farm animals and tropical birds to see. Walk through the entrance and take your time walking around there are hidden gems everywhere.
Before reaching the growing ginger in the back you will pass through flower and herb gardens. If you walk far enough you may even run into a horse in the field. When you work up an appetite you can head up to the main building and grab a seat.
There is indoor dining with AC and a big covered patio if you wanted to sit outback. The restaurant is farm-to-table and has fresh items on the menu. Opt for a big meal or just stop by for a juice and explore. Be sure to put the Ginger farm on top of your cool cafes in Chiang Mai Thailand.

My Secret Cafe is one of the hidden best cafes in Chiang Mai. And they are only a short 2-minute walk from the popular Wat Phra Singh. Stop by all day to enjoy delicious coffee and teas. If you are looking for a little breakfast they have amazing dishes here as well. Try the Banana Praline Waffles they are a crowd favorite. But you can also find curry noodle dishes and a large variety of different salads for lunches for a little something lighter.
After you are done working for the day you pack up your laptop and stay late for live music. They have live music almost every Tuesday night. Check out The Cats Station it is the top cafe in Chiang Mai that has cats to play with. Besides the obvious reason to go and play and the cute little kitties, the food and drinks here are incredible too. Everything is homemade and fresh and it is very affordable. You can take your pick between a chicken panini or maybe a big omelet is more your speed.
If you are looking for a great lunch spot they serve up fresh salads, sandwiches, and a few traditional Thai dishes as well. Be sure to keep your eye out for the owner, she is like a sweet Aunt you want to go visit and eat her delicious food. Check them out here from Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 4:30 pm.
Another place to work and relax is this instagrammable cafe in Chiang Mai, Keep in Touch. There is a great selection of treats from the bakery and a fun drink menu too. Take your pick from healthy fruit drinks, teas, and plenty of coffees, hot and iced.
There are plenty of comfy seats for working inside or out. The inside vintage decor is so trendy and instagrammable, and there are so many cute plants you will get plenty of work done in a relaxing atmosphere. Try french toast or waffles for a sweet treat. If you are looking for one of the best cafes in Chiang Mai old city you have to check out the Fern Forest Cafe. The garden is a great escape from the heat. Relax in the shade under a big tree and take a break. Everything on the menu from the shrimp Pad Thai to the coconut cream pie is to die for.
Some other sweet treats are the delish apple pie with vanilla sauce and the lemon cheesecake. For breakfast, you can start with a bagel with cream cheese and salmon locs, or try a stack of fruity pancakes. If you check out Fern Forest on the weekend, you may even get to hear live music. There are lovely Chinese and traditional teas to choose from. The hot chocolate masselows are also so delicious you would think you are sitting in a French cafe sipping on it. Order breakfast or lunch from the bakery but save room for the desserts.

Head over to the Farm House Story for one of the cool cafes in Chiang Mai to work from. Be sure to take your time with the menu, there are different blends of beans to choose from, and most are from Thailand.
The whole place is full of homey decor pieces and they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Some of the most popular dishes are skillet eggs, waffle platters, oatmeal, and even pizza. For lunch, you can order delish traditional Thai food but you have to save room for dessert because the dessert menu is three pages long.

One of the best things about visiting the Coffee Farm is that you can purchase a few bags of coffee beans to bring back home with you. It is a wonderful way to remember Chiang Mai from your home, or at your next destination if you are a digital nomad in Thailand.
