The rates are super competitive, and you can find a car to rent for around $20 a day.

Online booking is the best way to go about it, and you can pick up your car from convenient locations like the Lisbon airport or popular city spots.

A word to the wise: always review the rental terms and conditions. Especially those concerning fuel policy, mileage limits, and any additional charges.

When I rented my car for the drive from Lisbon to the Algarve, they let me pick it up from Lisbon, and drop it in Faro, but I did have to pay a surcharge. If you are planning to leave from Lisbon, it would be cheaper for you to do the round trip, and just drop it back in Lisbon.
